Dear listener,
Our
musical path together begun in the early 21th century. In
September 2001 we were presenting the Sibelius Academy Folk
Music Department at the Eurofolk Conference of the young
European folk musicians in Italy and our future together as
a Duo was sealed.
Nowadays
we play Finnish and Nordic traditional tunes with joy and a
delicate response. Our repertoire includes also our own
compositions. We let the ardent sentimental mood to combine
in our original musical humour. In arrangements we always
try to leave the door open for the creative lunacy and the
impulses of a moment. Our firstling album was made in
accordance with the style of the band, in the spirit of a
jam session. Some of the tunes were recorded from the first
take and no "wrong sounds" were patched up in
afterwards.
